THE MUSICIAN

To see and hear Sam Stone, is to see and hear the future of American entertainment. Still in his teens, Sam hasalready amassed an impressive body of work that includes songwriting and production credits with L.A.’s top producers and feature film appearances next to acclaimed movie stars.

Sam hails from Hawthorne, California, where he was born into a family of musicians and entertainers. He joined the South Bay Children’s Choir at age nine, and over the next few years he would rapidly develop into an accomplished singer/songwriter. Remarkably driven, even at that young age, Sam started the band Stone’s Edge, with whom he would open for Jazz legend Herbie Hancock at the Ikeda Auditorium in 2008. Anybody would be justifiably proud of such an accomplishment, but it is all the more astonishing when you realize that Sam was only thirteen years old!

But the Jazz maestro wasn’t the only one who noticed young Sam’s extraordinary ability, popular UK recording artists McFly soon heard about him and flew him out to London to record with them in the prestigious Olympic Studios! And he was still only fourteen years old...

It is a true testament to Sam’s versatility that such a wide and diverse range of artists would recognize his ability, as is evidenced by the fact that superstar-rocker and Kissfrontman Paul Stanley spotted the young prodigy and mentored him on stage presence and how to work the crowd.

Sam has done benefit concerts for causes such as MADD and Artist Outreach, and he teamed up with Habitat for Humanity for the Firestorm Benefit Concerts. With a maturity and professionalism that belies his years, Sam has consistently delivered great music and he continues to impress all around him. Even the most seasoned veterans of the L.A. music industry can’t disguise their delight when they first hear him, and they all agree: it’s only a matter of time before the world will discover the talent that is Sam Stone!
